Why use dentfox & what was wrong with the way we’ve always done it?
Private/Retail customer types:
- The ‘Never get round to it customer’ Only 75% of customers who say they will send a photo of their dent actually do so.
- The ‘Terrible photographer’ Even when they do send a photo for quotation, they have either taken the shot from the wrong distance or angle, making it difficult to quote accurately.
- The ‘Stretching the truth customer’ Many customers describe their dent as much smaller than it truly is, just to get a technician to visit. Once you’ve arrived they expect the quotation you gave over the telephone to still stand even though the damage has mysteriously grown in size since your initial conversation. When the customer uses dentfox they provide you with a hard copy description for you to quote on. If the size of damage is different when you arrive, you show them what they provided and if appropriate raise your quotation to suit.
- The ‘Technophobes’ Many people still don’t have the facility to take a photograph, or know how to attach it to an email.
- Finally....’The Weather’ Trying to take a good photo in poor weather conditions is virtually impossible.
